Don't let sensitive ears discourage you. For copper earrings, most listings have an option where you can choose between copper ear wires or niobium ear wires. Niobium is a safe metal for sensitive ears. If an earring listing doesn't have an option for a sensitive ear safe metal, please feel free to message me so I can accommodate you.

Most of my stud earrings are made with stainless steel, however, some of them are made with titanium (each description will specify which metal the earrings are made with). If the listing doesn't have an option for titanium, please let me know you would like titanium so I can accommodate you.

All copper designs are clear coated. This provides a barrier between your skin and the copper so your skin will not react and turn a greenish color (a natural occurrence for some people based on their body's pH level). The coating also delays tarnish.

See Care Instructions for what to do when the coating wears off. How soon it will wear off depends on your body's pH and how often your jewelry comes into contact with water.

As with most jewelry, take your jewelry off before showering, swimming, or sleeping.

For longest lasting shine, store your copper pieces in a plastic bag when you aren't wearing them.

When your copper begins to tarnish, use a polishing cloth or steel wool to bring back the shine.

If you desire, after polishing the copper, you can apply a jewelers wax or clear nail polish to the part of the copper that touches your skin. This will delay the tarnishing process.

WARNING: For necklaces and bracelets with black words on them, do not apply nail polish over or near the black letters for two reasons: 1). the black letters do not (or generally do not) touch your skin; 2). the nail polish may cause the black lettering to bleed.

If needed, clean with warm soapy water & a clean cloth. Avoid antibacterial soaps as the harsh chemicals may harm the finish on the jewelry.

Store like items together (don't mix silver & gold/rose gold as the different metals may cause each other to tarnish or fade colors).

Absolutely! First of all, I don't recommend taking your ring made by me to a local jeweler as it is possible they will mess it up to a point that I may not be able to fix it. If you purchase a copper piece, whether custom or non-custom, and you decide you would like a different metal finish of silver or 14k gold, please contact me. There will be an additional, but affordable, fee and all you will have to do is send the ring back to me, and I'll take care of the rest for you. Reasons you may want to consider this option are if you find that copper turns your skin green and that is bothersome to you or if you simply would like a change. Opal & Turquoise jewelry currently aren't eligible for having a metal change.

Before I begin any piece I send you a photo of the gems I chose according to your requests made at checkout. From there, you can either approve of the gems or request changes.

Once I have your approval, I'll begin the piece & keep you updated along the way.

P.S. If you aren't confident what your ring size is, I highly recommend getting sized for free at a local jeweler as it is very difficult for me to change a ring size once the ring has been started :)

The metal building process I use for my rings makes it difficult to change the size of the ring once started & finished.

For all custom orders, I highly recommend getting sized at a local jeweler for free or purchasing a "US Size Stainless Steel Finger Sizer Measuring Ring Tool" on Amazon for $5-$7 so you can get an accurate size for your finger.

If the case arises where you do need your ring resized once finished, I don't recommend taking it to a local jeweler as there is a risk they'd mess it up & not assume responsibility. I am able to make the ring bigger by approx. 1/4 of a size or smaller by approx. 1/4 - 1/2 of a size. Sizing down will mean that thicker metal will be around the gems & the band. The cost will vary case by case.

For non-custom ring orders, it wouldn't hurt to make sure your ring size is accurate (using the tips above), but it isn't as essential as I am able to do exchanges for a different size on non-custom orders. The only cost involved would be the return shipping on the original ring & the new shipping cost on the new ring.

All dangle and stud earrings are final sale (no returns or exchanges). To ensure safety and quality for all of my pieces, I can't accept back any earrings as there's no way I can ensure they haven't been worn by the customer. I work hard to provide accurate photos and descriptions of all my items so please feel confident that you will receive what you ordered🖤 If a circumstance arises where an exception to this rule is warranted, there will be a restock fee that will be determined case by case.
